The Panasonic KX-TG6434PK is a package deal that includes a main base station and four cordless telephone handsets. All the handsets use DECT 6.0 on the frequency of 1.9 GHz and this is supposed to minimize interference with other electronic wireless devices. The main base features a caller blocking function that allows the user to program blocked numbers, and the handsets have text-to-speech talking caller ID and alarm clocks as well as battery level indicators. The Panasonic KX-TG6434PK main base is also a digital answering machine, and it supports up to two additional handsets, to a total of six. The handsets all have backlit LCD displays and backlit keys, and they have independent silent modes. Together, they can be used as an intercom system. Their expected battery life is about 5 hours of talk time, or 11 days of standby. This is one of Panasonic's higher-mid range cordless phone sets.

  • Call Block: Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phones Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls from them. After their information is stored, theyll get a busy signal if they call you again.
  • Silent Mode: Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it wont ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual.
  • Talking Caller ID/Talking Alarm Clock/Talking Battery Alert: Now you dont have to be holding the phone to see whos calling; using text-to-speech technology, the caller ID information is announced in between rings! The phone also boasts an alarm clock that speaks to you, as in Its time for lunch. And the phone politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please charge phone reminder.
